Cherokee Church of Christ is a group of people that claims to have become followers of the Jesus. We love to worship God through song, prayer, the Supper, giving and Bible study, reading and preaching.

We enjoy sharing in fellowship and desire to please God in all things. We’re happy to have you attend with us and get to know us better as we also get to know you better!

What We Believe

Trinity

We believe that God, Christ and the Holy Spirit are “the Godhead,” Divine.

Scriptural Veracity

We believe in the authenticity and accuracy of the scriptures, both Old and New Testaments.

Resurrection

We believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Jewish Messiah, having died and resurrected from the grave.

Discipleship

We believe that the New Testament church, the “called out,” Christians, are followers of the Messiah Jesus, having heard the gospel, believed, repented, confessed and been baptized.

Imitation

We believe that the New Testament church seeks to imitate Jesus in all of its’ ethical and doctrinal directions, which are derived from proper reading and interpretation of the holy scriptures.

Hospitality

We believe in being friendly, showing Christ-like character and welcoming you to become part of a church that desires to please God.
